Fisherlad in Harris — Children's Folklore Play by Eurythmy West Midlands

Fisherlad in Harris, a children's folklore play, comes to Karachi as part of the World Culture Festival – Karachi 2026, performed by Eurythmy West Midlands from the United Kingdom. The play tells the tale of a brave young lad from the Isles of Scotland whose kind heart leads him to help animals in need. When his beloved is taken captive by a giant, he must dive to the very bottom of the ocean to retrieve precious pearls for the giant's wife. Will the creatures he once saved return the favour and come to his aid? Founded in 2000 at the Glasshouse Arts Centre in Stourbridge under artistic director Maren Stott, Eurythmy West Midlands combines movement, spoken word, live music, and anthroposophical movement arts to stage folk legends and classical literature.
