Khayal Collective: An Expressive Art Salon on Womanhood in Pakistan is a workshop held in Karachi, brought together by the Centre for Arts-Based Methodologies and Wellbeing in collaboration with Project MIND. Facilitated by Nuvera Mukaty, a clinical psychologist, the session is designed to tend to the inner landscape of women through expressive art. Participants will use pottery as a medium of self-expression, painting both the inner and outer surfaces of terracotta pots with colours that reflect their personalities and represent the hidden, unseen parts of themselves. Project MIND is a psychology-informed wellbeing initiative built to provide psychological and therapeutic support through creative practice. This salon sits at the intersection of art and mental wellness, offering a nurturing environment for reflection, creativity, and connection.
